"We travel to Orlando several times a year and often stay in the Windsor Hills community because of its great location near the parks, but this was easily one of the best homes we’ve rented there.The house was exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable family stay. The amenities were excellent, especially the private pool and hot tub, which were warm and ready to enjoy when we arrived. After long days at the parks, it was the perfect place to relax.We did have a small issue with the HVAC system during our stay, but the owner responded immediately and handled it quickly. The communication and care they showed really stood out and made us feel well taken care of.Overall, this is a fantastic home in Windsor Hills and a great place to stay when visiting the Orlando parks. We would absolutely stay here again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family."

"We chose this property based on the salt water pool, outdoor dining area, free grill use, vasca idromassaggio, Parco acquatico, distance to Disneyworld, Sala giochi, private bathrooms, awesome reviews, and great communication with the hosts. The property lived up to all of our expectations! The house is clean, lovely, and very roomy. We had 10 people, plus a pug. We loved that there was a stroller for us to use so we didn’t have to lug ours on the plane. The saltwater pool and hot tub were exactly what we wanted after the heat and chaos of the theme parks. The adults in our party played in the game room until way after the kids went to bed every night. The TVs everywhere were another welcome wind down after such busy days. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen and grilling outside, poolside. We spent our entire last day swimming, playing games, and watching a movie at the resort clubhouse. The best thing might have been the easy and consistent communication with Sandy and Steve! It gave us such peace of mind to know we could get a hold of them whenever we needed to. We highly recommend this property to anyone, but especially a large family! Our Queen size beds at home are going to feel so small now! Thank you for a great stay!"

"Our immediate family (2 sons, their spouses, 1 daughter and her boyfriend, and 3 grandsons get together each year for a mini-vacation. We need a home with 6 bedrooms, which isn’t easy to find. Looks like we found the perfect place at Villa at the Castle at Windsor Hills. It is centrally located (we drive down from Gainesville and my sons drive up from South Florida. The community clubhouse is lovely as is the screened-in pool at our villa. I think our pool was in use all day and into the night. The kids, young and old, enjoyed the playroom, especially playing pool. Inoltre, it was easy to have deliveries from Instacart and Olive Garden. Hats off to Sandy and Steve for being “Super Hosts”."

"My parents took my brother and I to Disney when we were younger and teens. So, I wanted to come back with my family, parents and brother and experience it all together again. This was the first big vacation for my kiddos. I found Steve and Sandy’s listing and knew the property would accommodate us all. Let me just say, it was even better in person. The house was so spacious, set with everything you need, in a great area for shopping, restaurants and Dunkin bc let’s face it…mom of 4 here and I need coffee. The gated community to Windsor Hills was so nice and the pool house was great, my kids loved it. But back to Steve and Sandy’s house…it was SO clean and my kids loved splitting their own rooms. The game room was a great touch and of course the back yard pool…a huge hit. It with stocked with all the baby things people would need, and room to all spread out and do your own thing. I’ve stayed a few places before but this house by far has been the best I’ve been in. Steve and Sandy were always messaging with details and information and anytime you messaged, they’d get back to you quick! They even took the time to write back with well wishes for my daughter’s surgery when we came home. Truly, such kind people. Thank you for allowing us in your home and to make new memories we’ll always remember. I’ve told friends about the house (some live in other parts of FL) and I hope to be back one day to do it all again 🙂 10/10 rating over here."

"This property is fantastic. Everything matched the description. The house was immaculate and comfortable. So many little touches that we were not expecting. Like hand soaps at every sink, laundry detergent and well maintained cribs and infant bathtub. The game room was fun and entertaining. The internet was fast and stable. One of my biggest boxes to check is to have a spa/hot tub that gets hot. And it did! I loved it. The pool was heated as promised with the ability for us to adjust as needed. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Exactly what you would expect in a gated community. We found the property conveniently located to everything. If this property is available for your dates consider yourself lucky.And if that isn't enough, Sandy and Steve were very attentive and responsive. They made our week in the Florida sunshine even more enjoyable. I am looking forward to returning to this property."

The Game Room was a big hit with everyone, featuring Air Hockey, Calcio balilla, a Pool Table, putting green game, and darts. "This is a great property in the Windsor Hills Community and our family very much enjoyed our time in the house. The owners were great with their communication -- prima di, during and after our stay. The check in process was very easy. Inoltre, they sent a Welcome Packet which included information on everything you need for your stay, including recommendations for shopping and restaurants in the area. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole house was labeled so you knew where everything was. In addition to the items in the Game Room (Air Hockey, Calcio balilla, Pool table, putting green game and darts), there was an XBox in the Main Room and family games (Jenga, Monopoly, ecc.) and books available also! The pool was fantastic and my kids enjoyed the basketball hoop and other pool toys that were available. Each bedroom had a comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and a white noise machine. While my kids are older and didn't need all the "baby items", there was quite a selection -- exersaucer, rialzo sedia, jogging stroller, Pack e giocare, bed side rail, ecc. I would have loved having that available in a rental home when my kids were younger! Inoltre, the Windsor Hills community is great and a short drive to Disney -- plus this home is located closer to the entrance to the Community and is walking distance to the Community Center. "We stayed at Steve & Sandy's Villa by the Castle for four nights in February 2025.Making the reservation, payment, and communication with Steve and Sandy was super easy. They answered messages right away. The house was super clean. We loved the pool and all of the pool toys.The garage was a game room, which was great for the kids. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean! The kitchen was stocked with the essentials and made cooking easy. Parking and driving in and out was easy. We were 5 minutes from Magic Kingdom, which was really nice. We left the house at 7:15 am and had no traffic issues. Coming home we did hit traffic at 5 pm. It took us about 15 minutes to get back to the house. Traffic in Orlando is just crazy! Grembiule, we had a wonderful stay at the Villa by the Castle! It was worth it to stay here instead of the overpriced Disney properties. We loved that it was private compared to a Disney resort. Grocery stores were close by, but they were busy. Walmart was a zoo on the weekends. Ancora una volta, Steve and Sandy were great hosts and they keep a very clean property! We give them two thumbs up! : )"

"Planned a quick trip to Hollywood Studios to see Muppet 3D before it closed. The house is amazing! Very clean and well kept. Has everything you need and then some to make your stay welcoming and feeling like home! The hosts were wonderful with communication and helping with all our needs. Even shipped item left behind! "My husband I traveled with our adult children to celebrate his retirement. We visited Universal, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. When we weren't at the parks we enjoyed the home, especially the pool and hot tub! The house was super clean and there were QR codes to assist in logging on the Wifi as well as link you to directions for the hot tub and pool. We utilized both of the living areas and kitchen. It was a great value as well!"

The pool was clean, hot tub was amazing, living areas were perfect for our boys to run/crawl around, the beds were so comfy and the main master bathroom was incredible! "My family and I had the pleasure of being guests at the Villa by the Castle to celebrate our children's May birthdays. Let me start off by saying the villa did not disappoint! We traveled with our twin 1 yr olds, our 2 yr old and and our 11 yr old plus the grandparents. Everyone was so comfortable and throughly enjoyed their stay. The amenities were plentiful and Steve and Sandy really put a lot of thought into their accommodations so that each guest, no matter the age, could be comfortable. From fully equiped sleeping arrangements for all ages (cribs etc.), to a fully staged kitchen equiped with all your cooking needs during your stay. The pool was clean and ready for use upon arrival. The pool staff even came to clean the pool during our stay. Steve e Sandy, I can't thank you enough for all you did to make our family vacation a success. We WILL be back!"

So it was very important to us to have no surprises. Well from the very start our host Sandy and Steve were absolutely marvelous they made the whole process really easy and they covered ever detail of the rental process. If I had a question I got my answer immediately. The house was everything we expected and more. It was spotless and organized and everyone really enjoyed the game room and pool. Disney world was an easy 10 min drive from the house so we didn’t need to get everyone up really early to get to the park. The days when we didn’t go to a park the main pool area in the resort was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend this house and the wonderful host any higher. "This house worked great for us and let my teen and college kids spread out a bit and have their own rooms and bathrooms. House was very clean and the kitchen was very well appointed. We didn’t use the pool or game room but those seemed nice as well. The house is inside a large gated neighborhood so it does take awhile to enter and exit due to car backups and it isn’t necessarily walkable to shops or restaurants if that is something you’re interested in. About a 15 min drive to Disney with traffic and all of the stop lights. Sandy was great to work with and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her Vrbo."

The location of the house is so convenient to the Castle Park and Community Pool (both places we frequented ALOT due to our grandkids’ ages: 3-1/2, 1-1/2 & 7 months). The zero entry community pool was absolutely perfect for our 3 littles!! We felt like we were at a resort!! We also enjoyed many hours in our house pool! We loved having the natural barrier around the pool which provided us privacy. The close location to Disney Parks (and a huge Walmart!) was so convenient, too. Finalmente, Steve & Sandy were amazing hosts! We had a slight glitch with the house code when we originally arrived and they immediately replied with a new house code which worked. They were also quick to respond on a few of our other inquiries we had during our visit. We would definitely rebook this home for a future FL family gathering!! This was our first time traveling since having kids (and due to Covid) - we were with a one year old and soon to be three year old, plus had two friends and their daughter joining us so a super clean and baby/toddler friendly home was essential. I wasn’t sure it existed until I found Villa by the Castle. All the baby stuff we could think of was there - stair gate, pool gate, seggioloni, passeggini, Culle per bambini, non-slip tub mats and baby bathtub, stool for our toddler to reach the sink, even a potty seat…just so much! And when I noted that the sun umbrella was broken on a stroller - the owners had a new stroller delivered the next day! Baby stuff aside, the house was awesome. Spacious, comfy beds, lots of seating, lovely decor, and safe thanks to being in a gated community. It was stocked with all the essential appliances including two coffee makers for big groups and even starter consumables such as detergent, toilet paper, dish sponges, ecc. which was nice. The owners made a really handy welcome guide that addressed everything we needed to know and for a few random questions we had, they were quick to respond. It was close to Disney and we had a wonderful stay. If you’re thinking of renting this house, don’t hesitate. The owners are very attentive and thoughtful people who clearly enjoy sharing their home with people who will care for it and appreciate it. My only regret is that we didn’t book longer!"

We really appreciated that everything was labeled and organized so well. It had absolutely everything we needed. What sold us on booking the house was everything was included in the stay. I didn’t want to have to worry about the pool or hot tub being too cold for the kids to swim or have to worry about additional fees. We spent hours in the pool and hot tub and it was wonderful! We had lots to do in the area - discovery cove, sea world, and aquatica. We also took a day and drove to Clearwater. We appreciated how close this house was to grocery store, liquor store, ecc. Everything was so neatly labeled and they had everything we needed (even cereal bowls with the straws attached- so fun!!). and Steve and Sandy were easy to get ahold of and responded right away. Having the pool right out the back door was great and so perfect for letting the kids swim and play anytime of the day! The kids couldn’t believe there was a game room in the house!! The location was close to both the playground and the large pool and water park. We had a wonderful vacation and wish we could have stayed longer, but we definitely made the most of it in this perfect house!"

We cooked at home a lot and we’re thankful for a stocked kitchen with all the appliances and dishes etc. The baby equipped house was great so we didn’t have to bring additional items on the plane. The washer was acting up prior to our arrival (but still functional) so they arranged a brand new one to be delivered during our stay. Much appreciated, because with 4 kids there is a lot of laundry! Having the playground and clubhouse so close was great, we loved walking the neighborhood as well. House was clean and plenty of space for our family vacation with 8 adults and 4 kids. Kids loved the pool at the house as well. Getting to Disney was super easy and we loved how close the parks were. We will be returning for sure!"

"We visited for Disney World’s 50th. Steve and Sandy were extremely responsive, kind and helpful. The house is great- we loved the pool in particular. So close to the parks that it is as convenient as taking monorail/gondola/bus/cab to your hotel, but with lots more room, a full kitchen (so quick and inexpensive breakfast), a great pool, and all at a better cost! We will certainly return."

"We were in town for an AAU national basketball tournament which we also turned into a family vacation. We traveled with 10 adults and one teenager. The house was spacious, pulire, and very inviting. Sandy and Steve were amazing with their response time and instructions. We were so relaxed it felt like a home away from home. The Lanai was definitely our favorite spot in the house. We will absolutely return to Villa by the Castle and recommend it to anyone we know who may be traveling to Orlando!"

"We just spent over a week in this wonderful home. It is perfect for a family vacation to Disney or other close by attractions. Windsor Hill has lots of amenities and the water park is very nice but our grand children really enjoyed coming home each day to the private pool and spa at Villa by the Castle. When not experiencing Disney, we spent lots of time swimming, playing games and relaxing on the lanai. We went to each of the parks and the drive was so short. It was awesome having the well stocked kitchen and grill for meals. Steve and Sandy have anticipated all of the things you need in a temporary home to have a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We are looking forward to another visit in the future."
