Orlando Tree Trek – a break from the theme parks and to get a great workout at the same time
Our family enjoyed the WonderWorks indoor rope course so much that we decided to take it outdoors. Orlando Tree Trek has an outdoor course that is both fun and challenging.
The Tree Trek course takes an average of 3.5 hours to finish. It’s a combination of zip lines, suspended bridges, nets & Tarzan swings.
There are also 2 separate kid’s courses. The ropes/zip line courses are well laid out, and as you progress, so do the obstacle course challenges.
They’re open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. (earlier or later depending on the season).
If possible, book either on-line or over the phone so that you can get started as soon as the doors open.
Tree Trek offers senior & military discounts. You can also check for a Groupon discount before buying your tickets.

How To Dress & What To Bring
Wear very comfortable clothes, shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. In the hot summer months, wear a tank top. You’ll be surprised how much sweating you’ll do. For safety reasons, you do not want to wear open-toed shoes, flip flops, or loose/baggy clothing.
You can bring gloves, but you can also buy them there for $3.00. We were fine using the ones they provided.
Suggerimento rapido: If you have long hair, make sure you put it up. Anche, remove all jewelry. Bring sunscreen and if you’re the type to attract mosquitoes, bring bug repellent.
Orientation
We arrived a half-hour before our reservation. We were eager to start our trek.
We entered the office, used one of the screens to sign the electronic consent form. We also bought the gloves and the water package. We recommend that you buy the water package. The cold water will be available in a cooler at the bottom of each obstacle. That cold drink was the carrot at the end of each obstacle for us.
Orlando Tree Trek – Training Session
It took a few tries to get used to using the magnetized clips. It was reassuring to see that the guides were always around to give us direction, and the set-up was very safe.
While tree trekking, it was nice to be surrounded by mature pine trees. The obstacles were between 10 to 50 feet in the air. If you’re afraid of heights, può essere un po 'impegnativo, but you’ll be perfectly safe. One of the guides can help you climb down if you decide to take a break.

Our goofy memories.
We bought the picture package and are still enjoy looking at all of the goofy memories we made.
It was a great hands-on fun experience. The staff was terrific and made our trek a happy one.
We plan on going back to Orlando Tree Trek in the future. 🙂
